He was born to Amelia Madison and was concieved during the Iraq War. He grew up in New York with relatively no major incidents involving monsters. When he was thirteen, His mother and him were at a bank during an armed robbery. It was then his powers manifested and he fought off the attackers. However he failed to defend the innocents and many were killed including his mother.
When his father heard of the events that transpired, He sent Lionel to Camp Half-Blood. He made few friends and was very solitary until the arrival of Jordan Lamont. The two bonded very quickly and he considered her a little sister. He remained at camp for six years.
