Do you know what it's like to have the fate of the world in your hands? To have abilities that no one could even dream of? To watch your family and friends murdered? Well I do. My name's Ryan Deos, and I'm a demigod. This is my story of how the gods were forgotten, and the world plummeted into Chaos.
It began in the year of 2026, when the gods of Olympus began the biggest war in mankind, World War III. Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades all got in a disagreement. It is still unknown what it was about, but there was a three-way war between the gods, and all of the Olympians picked sides.
Because of their elemental powers, Poseidon made the oceans rise, drowning nearly every island in the world. When he fought with Zeus, they made hurricanes destroy the land.
When Hades and Poseidon fought, tsunamis destroyed coastal areas that weren't flooded by Poseidon. Hades alone caused devastating earthquakes and destabilized parts of the world,forming large sink holes across the planet.
Zeus destroyed cities with tornadoes and lightning storms, and when he and Hades fought, dust storms covered large parts of land, and killed nearly all of the population of Africa.
Besides what the gods did, the mortals also fought each other. Nuclear bombs destroyed large segments of Asia, Central Europe, Australia, and Southern Africa.
By the time most of the world's population was gone, geography had changed. All Islands were gone and most places were nuked. Europe, Australia, Asia, South America, and Africa were uninhabitable. North America had risen from the ashes, and Panem was then formed. By then, it was year 2050, and America, parts of Canada and Mexico, and Antarctica were the only places where humans could live.
The gods hadn't completely forgotten the mortals, though. Olympus had been split into three, and they moved to separate parts of America to live peacefully. They observed Panem, and saw that the Capitol had become ruthless and evil. Then, the gods formed a plan. They were going to bring peace to the world again, by working together.
As I said, my name is Ryan Deos, and I am the result of their plan to save the world (Or what was left) from the Capitol. They were going to use demigods to overthrow President Dolor.
