Rosaline Belinda "Rose" Ravens is the daughter of Lyle Ravens Jr, a Botany teacher in Ireland, and Ceres, the Roman goddess of plants and agriculture (Demeter's roman counterpart) . She has an Irish accent. She has the rare power possessed by children of Ceres/Demeter to communicate with animals, plus has mastered plant control. She ran away from home at age 7 so she could keep her father, her stepmother and her half-brother safe from monsters. She follows Josh McLean, Finn Sullivan, Titus Potter and Sabre Robson on their quest to find the Godslingers.

Rose is described as a girl with a round face, light green eyes that turn red when she's mad, and hazel hair with light green streaks in it. Her hair is naturally that color (don't ask how.)

She had a crush on Sabre Robson for some time but wasn't sure if he liked her back (because most of the girls in camp wanted to date him) and when she found he did they started going out and later married.
