Plot[]
In the second book in the series, it follows a quest led by Rebecca Smythe, daughter of Nike, who brings along Matthew Anderson and Elizabeth Johnson. The quest is to go find a Titan, one of the more helpful ones that can reveal many secrets to them and help them in their growing battle against the demi-titans. When they find him, he unlocks a secret power held within Matthew since his birth.
Main Characters[]
Camp Half-Blood[]
Matthew Anderson- son of Zeus. Accompanies the quest for Prometheus. The Titan helps him unlock a rare power from deep within on their quest.
Elizabeth Johnson- daughter of Athena. Accompanies the quest for Prometheus. Her photographic memory and feirce protectiveness of her friends helps the team along the way.
Rebecca Smythe- daughter of Nike. Leads the quest for Prometheus. Great military tactitian, but lacks some key leadership skills needed for the quest.
Alyssa Matheson- daughter of Apollo. Expert archer and one of camp's best healers.
Percy Jackson- son of Poseidon. Un-official leader of Camp Half-Blood, Matthew's friend and confidant, understanding the 'Child of the Big Three' concept.
Camp Othrys[]
Nathan Frost- son of Oceanus. Holds an even bigger grudge against demigods after the embarressing prisoner escape from his camp in the summer.
Brett Ravens- son of Prometheus. Though still loyal to the demi-titans, he wishes to find his father and helps the questers escape.
Prophecy[]
"Victory's daughter scour the earth,
Through the Titan, a power shall birth.
Wisdom's daughter makes her stand,
The Sky's hero passes the Roman hand."
