It was summertime. Keira Stoll was eating lunch with her mother, Shannon, and her brothers Travis and Connor.
Mmm, Mom made hot dogs and soup, she thought.
"Keira's hogging my seat," Connor complained.
"Don't sit in Connor's seat," Shannon warned.
The six-year-old sighed and sat in her own seat.
Then, Travis started freaking out.
"Mom!" he screamed. "Keira ate my cookie!"
Shannon wasn't really paying attention.
"Go get another one," she said, not looking up from her book.
Travis attacked Keira and poured his soup down her pants. She started crying, and Travis lost his dessert privileges for a week.
